Vini is a registered psychologist and clinical social worker with extensive experience working with children, adolescents, young people and adults. Vini has worked across a variety of settings including education, non-movement organisations and in private practice. Vini provides assessment and treatment and has over 20 years’ experience treating a wide range of developmental, emotional, behavioural and mental health issues. Some of these include: Anxiety and excessive worry, Grief and loss, Attention and concentration challenges, self-esteem development and resilience building, sleep difficulties, Stress associated with academic and exam anxiety, Depression, OCD, School Refusal, Anger and Emotion regulation, Family relationships, including parent-child and social difficulties.

Vini offers a warm, empathic and nurturing environment to the client whilst focusing on their unique treatment needs. Vini is a psychologist who values the importance of trust, mutual respect and places relationship at the centre of all therapeutic treatment. Vini aims to empower her clients to be curious about their experience and to move forward from being stuck in order to reach their therapeutic outcomes.

Vini’s clinical practice is grounded in evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance-based Approaches, Brief Psychotherapy, Trauma Focused Therapy Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Therapy (EMDR) Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFSF) and Play Therapy. Vini also has facilitated many programs such as Cool Kids, Tunning into Kids, Positive Parenting Program, Circle of Security and various other adult DBT, Self Esteem and Anxiety programs. Vini also provides supervision.
