Romina Gfeller
Romina is a compassionate and friendly psychologist who enjoys working with individuals across the lifespan and from diverse backgrounds. Her therapeutic style is collaborative and flexible, with a strong focus on tailoring evidence-based interventions to each client’s unique needs.
Romina draws on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients build insight, develop practical coping strategies, and work toward meaningful change. She has experience in private practice, the NDIS sector, corrective services, and school settings, and brings a strong understanding of the systems that can influence a young person’s wellbeing.
Romina has a particular interest in supporting young people experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and challenges related to life transitions. She is passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard and empowered.
Romina holds a Master of Science in Psychology from Massey University, New Zealand. She is a Registered Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia and a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc. (AAPi).
