Chloe Berenger
Chloe is a warm and engaging Psychologist who is passionate about working with children, adolescents, and families. She places a strong emphasis on creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where children and families feel heard, understood, and valued.
Chloe enjoys working collaboratively with children and families through individual therapy, parent training, and family-based interventions. She recognises that while family members share important relationships and experiences, each person is an individual with their own strengths, needs, and perspectives. She values working alongside families to better understand these individual needs and help them come together as a team to support positive and lasting change.
Chloe draws on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Parent Management Training, and integrated family therapy. She also has a particular interest in attachment theory and how early relationships and family dynamics can influence emotional wellbeing and behaviour. She has experience supporting children and families with attachment concerns, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation difficulties, and affective disorders.
Chloe has a strong interest in psychological assessment and enjoys helping children and families better understand their strengths, challenges, and individual needs. She has particular interests in assessment for ADHD, autism, specific learning disorders, and affective disorders.
As part of her research, Chloe has explored parenting programs and the factors that help parents maintain therapeutic gains following intervention. This has strengthened her interest in supporting parents with practical, sustainable strategies that can be incorporated into everyday family life.
Chloe has completed a Master of Clinical Psychology at Western Sydney University.
