We offer the Cool Kids and Chilled Teens Anxiety Programs at The Younger Years as individual sessions.

Depression is more than just feeling down or sad, it is characterised by persistent feelings of sadness, hopelessness, or irritability, that significantly affect emotional well-being, behaviour, and overall functioning.

Emotional dysregulation refers to difficulties in effectively managing and regulating emotions.

Challenging, disruptive and oppositional behaviours are often part of normal development, they can be age appropriate. However, when they are excessive or persistent and impact overall functioning, it may be a good idea to seek some support and guidance.

Eating disorders are defined by changes in behaviours, thoughts and attitudes to food, eating, weight, or body shape that interfere with a person’s life. Eating disorders are often a way of dealing with underlying personal, emotional and psychological difficulties and often go hand in hand with depression and anxiety.

At The Younger Years we support families across the years, that is from pregnancy right through to adulthood! Our clinicians work at promoting the emotional well-being of both babies and parents.

We provide treatment and support for adults. Becoming an adult often requires ongoing support beyond the younger years.

We offer the Cool Kids Anxiety Program at The Younger Years as individual sessions.

The Younger Years offers most of our assessment and therapy services online to children, young people and/or their families “virtually” via video or telephone, this is referred to as “Telehealth”.
